Protective Structures Installed Around Azerbaijani Monuments in Kyiv Against Russian Strikes
Protective structures have begun to be installed around Azerbaijani monuments in Kyiv amid ongoing missile and drone strikes from Russia. These measures were initiated following a recent attack on the Azerbaijani embassy, which heightened security concerns.
The first structure to be reinforced with defensive constructions is the monument to Heydar Aliyev, located in front of the Azerbaijani embassy. Similar measures are anticipated to be implemented for other Azerbaijani cultural sites in the coming days to minimize potential damage.
The work is being carried out by SOCAR's representation in Ukraine in cooperation with local authorities.
