Estonia Allocates 3.5 Million Euros for Ukraine's Starlink
The Estonian government has allocated 3.5 million euros for the purchase of Starlink satellite communication systems for Ukraine. This announcement was made by the country’s Minister of Defense Hanno Pevkur.
According to the Minister, Ukraine had previously informed its partners about the required equipment, which led to the decision to provide the necessary funding. Pevkur emphasized that Starlink systems play a crucial role during combat operations as they ensure stable and high-speed communication.
He noted that this capability is particularly important given Ukraine's plans to significantly increase the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Estonia continues to provide support to Ukraine through technical and defense measures, in alignment with the priorities outlined by the partner country.
