Turkish MP of Armenian Descent Stripped of Immunity: A Bill in Parliament
The Turkish Grand National Assembly has submitted a bill to remove the immunity of four members of parliament. According to media reports, the bill, presented to the president with the signature of the Turkish president, seeks to revoke the immunity of three members from the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and one from the Democratic Regions Party (DBP).
Among them is the Armenian descent MP Karo Paylan.
