The Food Safety Inspectorate has announced that it has conducted laboratory examinations of wheat batches imported from Russia and Kazakhstan. During plant quarantine studies, the entomological, phytopathological, and weed research found no quarantine harmful organisms.

As part of the safety indicator checks, the Inspectorate examined the levels of toxic elements, including heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxins, and radioactivity. According to the report, there were no deviations from the permissible limits at the border, and the imported grain meets safety standards.

At the same time, laboratory tests on quality indicators are still ongoing. Results will be published as soon as they are ready.
