Any Return of Enclaves Without Specific Compromise is Unacceptable: Tonoyan

For me, any return of enclaves without specific compromise is unacceptable, particularly Tigranashen. This was stated by former Armenian Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan in an interview with News.am.

In response to a journalist's question about the concerns he has regarding Tigranashen, Tonoyan replied, “It is an unacceptable option from a military perspective, but I cannot say what format the negotiations will take.”

Regarding Artsvashen, Davit Tonoyan stated, “Artsvashen is part of the Republic of Armenia, and the territory of Armenia must be restored. You cannot place the territory of Armenia and the enclave on the same plane.”
