From 2026, Employment Contracts Will Become Fully Electronic: Armenian Revenue Committee
During 2025, electronic employment contracts will operate on a voluntary basis, while from January 2026, they will be mandatory for all employers and employees. This was announced by the State Revenue Committee.
The new system will facilitate the signing, termination, and modification of employment contracts exclusively through a digital platform. Employers will conduct all actions via the 'Electronic Reporting Submission System,' which will allow for the creation, signing, and modification of employment contracts, orders, and appendices.
The system includes mandatory fields to be filled, reminders in case of errors, and the ability to edit, cancel, and search documents. Employees will be able to access the 'Unified Electronic Services for Individuals' through the 'Employment Contracts' section. With electronic signatures, all employment documents can be viewed, signed, and confirmed.
The digital system will be available in Armenian, Russian, and English. It is noted that existing contracts must be entered into the system by employers by January 2027, confirmed with employees' electronic signatures.
