Kiev Hides the Situation of Troops in Kupiansk and Krasnoarmeysk: Peskov

The Kremlin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has announced that Kiev has rejected Russia's proposal to allow international journalists to visit the areas of Kupiansk and Krasnoarmeysk, where, according to Moscow, Ukrainian forces are in a complicated situation.

"The Kremlin is not aware of any Ukrainian journalist who has expressed a desire to go to those areas," Peskov stated. He mentioned that representatives of Western media were interested in Russia's proposal to assess the situation on the ground.

Peskov also addressed a number of other topics, stating that the Russian side does not yet have clear information regarding the nature of the planned U.S. nuclear tests.
