Bad Boy: Trump on Pardoning Biden's Son

The Republican Party's presidential candidate Donald Trump has not ruled out granting a pardon to Hunter Biden, the son of current American leader Joe Biden, if he wins the upcoming elections in November.

“I wouldn’t take it off the table,” the Republican said in response to radio host Hugh Hewitt’s question about whether he would pardon Hunter Biden if he is convicted and sentenced to prison. Trump added that Biden Jr. is a “bad boy.”

In early December 2023, the American leader's son was charged with nine counts of tax evasion. Prosecutors believe that he spent millions of dollars on “lavish living instead of paying taxes.” He could face up to 17 years in prison. In September 2024, Biden Jr. pleaded guilty to all nine charges.

Additionally, in June 2024, jurors found the American leader's son guilty on all three counts of a gun-related violation. In this case, Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison.
