US Halts Payments to the UN

The United States has suspended its payments to the United Nations, awaiting the completion of reforms within the organization. This was stated by the U.S. Permanent Representative to the UN, Mike Waltz, in an interview with Breitbart News.

According to Waltz, as a result of U.S. pressure, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has agreed to cut the organization's budget by 15 percent, which will lead to an 18 percent reduction in staff and a 25 percent reduction in peacekeepers.
