VIDEO: A Vaccinated Person Dies from Coronavirus in Armenia

A case of death of a vaccinated individual from coronavirus has been reported in Armenia. The patient was an 80-year-old citizen who had many other underlying health conditions. This was stated by Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan during the 'Perspective' program.

'We have a case where an 80-year-old citizen has died after vaccination, but this citizen had many other accompanying health issues. Such cases cannot be excluded and are not uncommon. Similar exceptional cases occur in other countries as well, but this should be put into context regarding how many deaths we are experiencing as a result of the illness and how vaccinations are preventing these,' said the minister.

According to the latest data, among over 2,300 hospitalized individuals in Armenia, only 176 are vaccinated, with approximately 90 percent of them experiencing moderate illness.
