60 Earthquakes in One Day in Russia
In the Kamchatka region of Russia, a total of 60 earthquakes have been recorded in the last 24 hours, with six of these tremors felt by residents of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. According to the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the magnitude of the underground shocks reached up to 4 on the Richter scale.
Experts have reported that seismic activity in the region remains high, and the recorded tremors are related to the powerful earthquake that occurred on July 30, serving as aftershocks. They noted that currently, no serious damage or dangerous consequences have been reported. The Geophysical Service continues its monitoring efforts to observe the possible development of aftershocks.
