What Malfunction Did Prigozhin's Crashed Aircraft Have? Details

The first results of the investigation into the plane crash in the Tver region, which involved businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, six other passengers, and three crew members, have been revealed. This information was reported by MK.

According to the publication, before the aircraft took flight, it had been sent for repairs due to a malfunction. The Embraer was sent for repairs on July 20 because of a failure in the turbo-cooler.

New equipment was delivered late, arriving 30 days later instead of the expected 10, delayed in part due to Western sanctions. As a result, a new turbo-cooler was acquired for seven million rubles.

During the entire repair period, the aircraft was parked in an open area at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. Three individuals—two engineers and the technical director of MNT-avia—gained access to the aircraft during the repair process.
