Brutal Murder in Yerevan: 28-Year-Old Man Stabbed Multiple Times

"According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, there are four marks of strikes from a sharp cutting-piercing object on the body, and it is not excluded that the forensic examination assigned by the investigator may reveal more strikes," the site writes.
According to information from the site, the victim was a 28-year-old man, who, according to those gathered, including neighbors, is transgender.
"In the interest of the investigation, we do not disclose the identity of the victim. After killing him, they likely set the apartment and the body on fire in order to cover up the traces," the site notes.
According to the National Emergency Management Service, the man's body was discovered on the floor near the kitchen.
"The National Crisis Management Center received the call today around 5:00 PM. According to the call, smoke was observed coming from an apartment in Building 1 on Koghbatsu Street in Yerevan.
Emergency teams dispatched included two fire-rescue units from the fire and rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Yerevan, one ladder truck, and a duty group from the operational and firefighting and rescue operations organizing department of the National Crisis Management Center. The fire was contained around 5:30 PM, and extinguished about 10 minutes later. The citizen's body was found in the apartment," the statement mentioned.
