The Future is No Longer Tomorrow: Pashinyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, addressed the National Assembly during the discussion of the bill on the "2026 State Budget," commenting on the perception of the future, stating that it is no longer a distant phenomenon.

"In 2021, we participated in the elections with the slogan 'There is a Future,' and now we are living in that very future. The future is not tomorrow; the future is now. We must change our perception and realize that the future is our daily life today," emphasized the Prime Minister.

Pashinyan noted that the ideological foundation of the government is based on the priority of statehood and state interests. He mentioned that the state must serve its citizens by ensuring their security and well-being.

"In our reality, there has always been the question of what the state is for. We have come to the conclusion that the Republic of Armenia is a self-sufficient state within its internationally recognized borders, and its main mission is to ensure the happiness and well-being of its citizens," said the Prime Minister.

He added that all government strategies, including defense and security policies, are built on this ideological foundation.
