Putin Announces Another Test of Nuclear-Powered 'Burevestnik' Cruise Missile

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced another test of the nuclear-powered 'Burevestnik' cruise missile. According to the Kremlin, Putin met with Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, who reported that the test of the 'Burevestnik' missile took place on October 21. The missile was in the air for 15 hours, covering a distance of 14,000 kilometers.

“We need to determine possible applications and start preparing the infrastructure for the deployment of this weapon in our armed forces,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
