Pashinyan on the Free Trade Agreement Between Iran and the EAEU
During an online session of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Supreme Council, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia is interested in the prompt signing of a free trade agreement between Iran and the EAEU.
“Within the framework of international cooperation, the necessity to build economic relations and cooperation chains with third countries is emphasized,” said Pashinyan. “The experience of the interim agreement with Tehran clearly demonstrates the attractiveness of the Iranian market and the prospects for further deepening cooperation,” he added.
The Prime Minister also noted that the signing of a free trade agreement with Indonesia is on the agenda of today’s session. “It is important to continue enriching the international agenda so that both member countries of the union and our partners can see tangible results of mutually beneficial cooperation,” said Pashinyan.
