Aliyev: 'We must forcefully drive the enemy from our land. I have said it and I have done it.'
‘Today, the factor of power is brought to the forefront. I have spoken about this ten years ago. All my speeches are in the press. I said that international law does not work. I said that we should not deceive ourselves; we must become even stronger, gather strength, and if necessary, forcefully drive the enemy from our land. I have said it and I have done it,’ stated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his speech while visiting the occupied Kovsakan district of Artsakh (Zangelan). This information is reported by Azerbaijani media.
The authoritarian leader of Azerbaijan declared that the country needs to increase its power since the factor of strength is extremely important. ‘We must continue to be strong. Today our economic indicators are very positive. I can say that this year Azerbaijan is one of the fastest-growing countries in the world. We are also strengthening our military capabilities. New armed formations have been created since the war, new equipment has been purchased, and we will continue to do this. Because if we are not strong, we will not be able to live as we want. We want to live freely. We want no one to interfere in our affairs in the future. There is no need for that. We have built such a wonderful state that many can envy today. Let no one teach us or advise us. That is unnecessary,’ he added.
