The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Suren Grigoryan, has responded to the statements made by opposition members of the council.

“I want to understand what you have governed or created that allows you to speak of such managerial skills. I am not saying that we are perfect, but when we listen to you, it sounds like you have founded a billion-dollar unicorn company, with Forbes writing about your business successes. As sad as it is, you spend ten minutes adding 45 to 15 to get the number of trolleybuses, and in the end, you don’t understand what that means,” he said.

Suren Grigoryan also addressed claims that the ruling party has lost in certain communities: “Losing an election when you are not forming a government is not a disgrace. Facing the people's vote and drawing conclusions from it is not a disgrace. You need to be a mature political force to confront that, to understand what you did wrong to gather more votes next time.”
