The Army Will Not Comply, They Will Remain in Their Places, Vazgen Manukyan
Of course, there is a connection with Onik Gasparyan. This was stated today, on March 9th, during a conversation with reporters before the opposition rally on Baghramyan Avenue by Vazgen Manukyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the "Homeland Salvation Movement."
“It’s not like we are sitting together discussing, we just have information about each other. I don’t know whether he will file a complaint with the administrative court or not. I wouldn't really advise it,” he said.
Addressing the fact that today is the last day for Armenian President Armen Sarkissian to appeal to the Constitutional Court regarding the dismissal of Chief of General Staff Onik Gasparyan, following the prime minister's recommendation, Vazgen Manukyan said: “Today it is crucial whether the president will file a complaint with the Constitutional Court by 6 PM, and what steps Nikol Pashinyan will take afterward. I am convinced of one thing: the army will not retreat. In other words, if there is a decree from Nikol Pashinyan dismissing him, I am sure the army will not comply. They will remain in their places.”
