Search for Bodies of Israeli Hostages Continues in Gaza

The search for the bodies of slain Israeli hostages continues in Gaza, with teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross participating and utilizing equipment received from Egypt, according to a correspondent from RIA Novosti.

This week, the Palestinian Hamas movement handed over the bodies of ten of the 28 hostages held since the ceasefire agreement came into effect to the Israeli side.

On Saturday, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that they had received the remains of an additional 15 Palestinians killed over the past two years through the Red Cross. Since the ceasefire began, the total number of bodies handed over by Israel has reached 135.

Search efforts for the hostages' remains, for which Hamas and Israel blame each other for the deaths, are ongoing, particularly in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Equipment has been brought in from Egypt to assist with the searches.
