It's Time for the Church to be Cleansed from Ktirich: Civil Contract MP

It's time for the church to be cleansed from Ktirich.

This statement was made by Arusyak Manavazyan, a member of the parliamentary faction of the Civil Contract party, on her social media page. "If until yesterday the words of Father Aram against Ktirich Nersisyan were not yet definitively clarified, the published recordings now prove that Father Aram was right. These recordings, where there are discussions about pressuring clergymen and even their parents to take to the streets, are simply shocking.

Ktirich Nersisyan and his clan not only undermine the role of the church but also create negative sentiments towards the entire institution within our people. I humbly believe in you, Holy Fathers, who are not related to this darkness. I believe that the heart of the church still beats for truth and justice. Now is the time for your words and your actions.

If you do not speak up, silence will become a justification for Ktirich, who will say, 'Everyone is on my side.' It is time to cleanse the church. This is not an anti-church step, but rather the most divine one, because as it is written in the Holy Scripture: 'Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture' (Jeremiah 23:1). Those who divide, scatter, and damage have no place within the church.
