Government Actions Are Quite Nervous Before Decisive Moves Against the Mother Cathedral - Tigran Abrahamyan
“Government actions are quite nervous before decisive moves against the Mother Cathedral,” writes Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the parliamentary group ‘I Have Honor’ on Facebook.
“Pashinyan realizes that such adventurous actions cannot be clearly perceived internally. Some, perhaps, are God-fearing, others are cautious, while many believe that this will lay the groundwork for public consolidation against the government. In any case, every wing of the government—whether security forces, community leaders, regional governors or figures from the central apparatus—who bear responsibility for Pashinyan’s actions and inactions, from the surrender of Artsakh to the influence of Turkey and Azerbaijan, is now, willingly or unwillingly, taking on responsibility for actions against the Armenian Apostolic Church. Regardless of the system's response, the situation is also pivotal for the government in terms of choice,” wrote the opposition MP.
