Mutual Bombardments in Russia and Ukraine

Russia has launched massive strikes against Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the Russian side has fired more than 300 drones and 8 missile strikes towards Ukraine, as reported by Rbk Ukraine.

One of the missiles hit a 9-story residential building in Kyiv. At least 6 people have been killed in the capital, including a child, and more than 50 people have been injured.

Russia has also reported the downing of more than 30 Ukrainian drones. The cities of Penza, Voronezh, and Volgograd came under fire. Debris from drones fell on the railway infrastructure in the Volgograd region, temporarily halting train traffic.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that it has gained control over the city of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk.
