Zelensky May Convince Trump to Change His Mind on Weapons Supply to Ukraine: Bloomberg
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has prepared a "list of promises" that could help persuade U.S. President Donald Trump to change his stance on supplying weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by Bloomberg.
"Ukraine is demonstrating ingenuity in trying to secure U.S. assistance for its military objectives," states an article titled "Zelensky Prepares List of Promises for Trump." According to the publication, Kyiv may offer Washington expertise in drone technology and production in exchange for critically needed U.S. weapons and energy supplies.
Furthermore, Zelensky may propose to Trump the opportunity for American oil companies to utilize pipeline infrastructure in Ukraine for exports to Slovakia and Hungary. Sources suggest that Kyiv officials will also offer American companies discounted storage for liquefied natural gas in Ukraine's vast underground storage facilities to boost U.S. energy exports to European countries.
