VIDEO: Casualties and Injuries: Clashes Erupt Between Afghanistan and Pakistan

Armed clashes have erupted between Taliban forces and Pakistani border guards along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The clashes are ongoing in Afghanistan's eastern provinces of Khost and Paktika, near the border with Pakistan. Taliban forces have seized several checkpoints along the border with Pakistan. So far, 19 Pakistani soldiers and 3 Afghans have been killed.

In the morning, the Taliban launched military operations at the border with Pakistan in response to airstrikes by the country's air force on bases belonging to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan group in Afghanistan's Paktika province. Taliban representatives claim that 46 people have died in Eastern Afghanistan due to the Pakistani airstrikes.
