VIDEO: Drones Attack Residential Buildings in Kazan

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have attacked houses in three districts of Kazan, causing a fire at the scene. Evacuations of residents are underway, according to the Kazan municipal government's Telegram channel.

The Defense Ministry had previously reported the destruction of a Ukrainian drone in the skies over Tatarstan.

Emergency services and the head of the government, Alexei Pesoshin, have arrived at the incident site following the event. “Upon the instruction of Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Prime Minister has been dispatched to the scene. All services have promptly arrived at the site,” the message states.

It is noted that the drone struck a residential building from the Soviet era called “Lazur Sky.” Later information confirmed a second drone strike, which led to a significant fire outbreak.

According to the Mash Telegram channel, another drone attack was reported, which preliminarily impacted the “Manhattan” residential complex in Kazan. The city administration confirmed the strikes, specifying that fires erupted in buildings located in the Soviet and Kirov districts.

“Services are working at the fire site. Necessary assistance is being provided. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin has instructed to accommodate evacuated residents and ensure they are provided with warm clothing and food,” the city hall’s Telegram channel reports.

There are no reported casualties or injuries.
