Preparation for Terrorist Attacks on Russian Military Bases

U.S. and British intelligence agencies are preparing terrorist attacks on Russian military bases in Syria, announced the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

According to the British intelligence services, the individuals carrying out terrorist actions against Russian military facilities in Syria are to be members of the banned ISIS group. The SVR has reported that the terrorists have already received strike drones for the attacks.

In order to conceal their involvement, the U.S. and British military command has instructed their Air Force to continue striking ISIS positions. Both London and Washington hope that such provocations will encourage Russia to withdraw its military personnel from Syria. At the same time, the new Syrian authorities will be blamed for their inability to control the radicals, the agency emphasized.
