Pushkov Makes Statement on EU Collapse

The EU's own policies will be the reason for its future collapse, according to Alexei Pushkov, head of the Information Policy Committee of the Federation Council. The parliament member reacted to Brussels' decision allowing children of any age to change their gender freely.

"The European Union has decided to definitively and resolutely eliminate the remnants of normalcy remaining in Europe. The choice is vastly broad. For example, in Germany, 72 'genders' have been officially recognized. The EU is sowing the seeds of its own future collapse," he wrote.

According to proposals presented by the European Commission this week, children of any age will be able to change their gender, while treatment methods contrary to this policy will be banned. Any government that imposes age restrictions or fails to transition to gender equality based on gender could be subject to scrutiny by the European Court. The court has the authority to determine that EU laws take precedence over national laws.
