Plans to Implement an Application for Tracking Public Transport Movements on an Online Map: Avinyan

The Yerevan City Hall plans to implement an application for tracking the movements of public transport on an online map. This was mentioned today, May 29, during a regular operational meeting at the City Hall by Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

“I have personally spoken with Tigran Khudaverdyan, a representative from Yandex, regarding this issue,” Avinyan stated. The City Hall does not rule out the possibility of establishing cooperation with the company. Currently, Yandex has already made proposals to the city authorities.

As for the operation of public transport, all old Gazelles will be removed from the capital by September 1, and the routes will be supplemented with new batches of buses.
