Ruben Vardanyan to Invest 20 Billion Drams in Solving Vital Issues in Artsakh
Public-political figure and former Prime Minister of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, along with members of the initiative group of the "Artsakh Security and Development Front," presented the aims, directions of activity, and organizational structure of the movement during a meeting in Stepanakert. This was reported by Ruben Vardanyan's office.
It was noted that the front is open to collaboration with all forces, organizations, and individuals who accept the goal of having a free, secure, independent, and happy Armenian Artsakh. Ruben Vardanyan indicated that this vision for the future of Artsakh has emerged from extensive public discussions over the past months, defining all directions and highlighting the issues while a roadmap has been developed.
"The gathering has been centered around the purpose and idea, not individuals. The challenges facing Artsakh are extremely serious, and serious work and extensive engagement are required to confront them," he stated.
Based on the roadmap, programs are also being designed, all aimed at serving the same primary purpose - to achieve a free, secure, happy, and Armenian Artsakh. "The massive work ahead requires financial backing. For this purpose, in the initial phase, my family will invest 20 billion drams. We also expect to attract an additional 40 billion drams from those Armenians and friends of Artsakh who care about the fate of Artsakh and its people. We are confident that people will stand by us. This amount will help us pass through the first and most difficult phase and move forward, making it possible for the Artsakh Security and Development Front to truly become a pan-Armenian endeavor by also utilizing pan-Armenian resources," Ruben Vardanyan stated.
He mentioned that they will cooperate with both the government and various organizations and individuals, ensuring transparent, consistent, and structured work. "It is time to seriously get to work. In this situation, we simply cannot afford not to act. There is no time for imitation. Unfortunately, many promises have been made during this period but have not been fulfilled, leading to words losing their value. Daily, real steps must be taken. We will collaborate with all those who are ready to take real action. If we don't start now, if we don't show ourselves and the world that we are ready to fight to the end and see no other way, the world will not support us," he emphasized.
During the meeting, members of the initiative group presented their work on forming roadmaps, addressed questions about the structure of the front, and responded to inquiries from participants.
