Putin Addresses Conflict and Makes Several Statements

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the Ukrainian conflict during a live broadcast and a major press conference, stating that Moscow currently does not see Kyiv's full preparedness for a peaceful resolution.

According to him, the Russian side observes and acknowledges certain signals from the Ukrainian authorities indicating a willingness for possible dialogue. At the same time, Putin noted that Russia is ready to conduct negotiations regarding the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis based on the principles laid out in June 2024.

In his statement, the Russian president asserted that Moscow is willing and desires to end the conflict through peaceful means. However, he emphasized that the initiative on the battlefield is completely in the hands of the Russian forces, and the Russian Armed Forces are carrying out offensive operations along the entire front line.
