NSS Confirms: Ktrich Nersisyan's Brother is a KGB Agent - Vahagn Aleksanyan

MP Vahagn Aleksanyan has stated on Facebook: "OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED BY NSS - Ktrich's brother is a KGB agent." According to the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, Archibishop Ezra Nersisyan collaborated with the Soviet Union's State Security Committee between 1986 and 1988. This information was provided by the NSS in response to a query from Civic.am.

The NSS reported that in addition to this, it has data indicating that Archibishop Ezra Nersisyan currently maintains connections with representatives of foreign intelligence services, which may pose a threat to the national security and interests of the Republic of Armenia. Based on the above, the National Security Service is taking necessary measures within the scope of its legally designated powers to eliminate these identified threats.
