Father Garegin Arrested Under Extremely Vague Charges, Lawyer Says

Father Garegin has been placed in custody for one month as a measure of restraint, under conditions of extremely vague charges and seemingly baseless motions. This was announced by lawyer Petros Petrosyan.

According to him, Father Garegin is accused of merely aiding in a medium severity crime and is being prosecuted simply for being a priest.

It should be noted that today, Father Garegin Arsenyan, the diocesan chancellor of the Aragatsotn Diocese, was arrested for a month.
