Minister of Internal Affairs on the Newly Appointed Chief of Police
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, introduced the newly appointed Chief of Police, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aram Ghazaryan, to the leadership of the ministry and the police force. Sargsyan expressed gratitude to former Chief of Police Aram Hovhannisyan for his years of service and the work accomplished during his tenure.
While congratulating the newly appointed Chief of Police Aram Ghazaryan, Sargsyan wished him success in his new role. She emphasized that Ghazaryan is not new to the police system and his return during an intense phase of reforms provides an opportunity to view the system from a new perspective and to inject new energy into the police work while maintaining the approaches and principles adopted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the framework of the reforms.
The Minister reinforced her established principles regarding the operations of the system, stressing that they must be consistently upheld and are not subject to change. Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him, Aram Ghazaryan assured that they would continue to implement the programs associated with the police system.
