Vardapet, Don’t Go Crazy – Instead of Believing in God, These People Believe in Balloons: Harutyunyan
As we previously reported, the Investigative Committee provided details on why the clergymen were arrested, releasing photographs.
The Head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, referring to one of the published photographs, wrote: “It is abominable in the eyes of the Lord for one to engage in such things” (Corinthians 18:12).
Thus, the clergy, who are supposed to combat superstition, are themselves superstitious. After the arrest of the clergymen, the only thing that caught my attention in this image released by the Investigative Committee was a two-dollar bill (it is well known that the people of Ktrichenk love money, a lot of money). This is considered a lucky charm, which is a prime example of superstition.
Vardapet, don’t go crazy – instead of believing in God, these people believe in balloons. They are not followers of Jesus Christ; they are followers of Jefferson.
Let us remind you that on October 15, law enforcement agencies carried out operations in the Aragatsotn Diocese. As a result of more than twenty searches conducted, documents of significance for the criminal case, carriers containing electronic information, large amounts of money, gold and silver jewelry, and a number of fuel vouchers issued in the names of various commercial entities, among other items, were seized.
