We Condemn This Inhumane Barbarism Against Russia: Zakharova Appeals to Latvia

The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has described Latvia's decision to expel Russians as inhumane, barbaric, and Nazi-like. In response to a question from TASS, the diplomat emphasized that the expelled individuals included elderly people and those with health issues.

“We condemn this inhumane barbarism against the elderly and people with health problems. This is pure Nazism,” Zakharova stated.

She assured that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the actions of the Latvian authorities. She highlighted that “it is too early to speak about the threat of the immediate mass expulsion of Russians.” “They can resort to various administrative and legal mechanisms to protect their rights,” Zakharova explained.
