I Have Attended 'Gender Parties', It Wasn't Bad: Rubinayan

The Vice Speaker of the National Assembly and member of the ruling party, Ruben Rubinayan, has never understood the purpose of holding 'gender parties'. He expressed this during the 'Ambion' podcast that he started with fellow member Vahagn Aleksanyan.

"For me, it has always been more spiritual when a woman knows the gender of the child and tells her husband separately; this is a deeper ceremony for me. However, I have attended 'gender parties', and it wasn't bad," he stated.

According to the Vice Speaker, it is primarily women who want to organize 'gender parties'. "Women need an occasion to organize events. In reality, let there be many 'gender parties', as long as many children are born in Armenia, that's what we need. However, we shouldn't harm nature," Rubinayan said, referring to the turmoil surrounding the gender party at Shaki Waterfall.
