Proposal to Impeach Macron Rejected

The Bureau of the National Assembly of France has rejected a proposal from the left-wing opposition party "France Insoumise" calling for the resignation of President Emmanuel Macron. This was reported today by the newspaper "Le Figaro."

In the morning session, the opinions of the Assembly members were divided. As expected, the left voted in favor, joined by the Greens and the Socialists. All Macronist deputies voted against, while those from the National Rally abstained, the newspaper explained.
