Let Them Think a Hundred Times Before Taking Irresponsible Steps: Russia's Strong Reaction to the EU

Moscow has a reaction to the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine by Europe. This is an attempt to steal what rightfully belongs to the Russian Federation, stated Dmitry Birichevsky, director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"They should think twice: these are not plans to hand over something to them; this is a double attempt to steal what is rightfully ours. We have a response, so let them think a hundred times before taking their irresponsible actions," Birichevsky said.

Earlier, in an article by the Financial Times, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz proposed to provide Ukraine with a loan of about 140 billion euros at zero interest by using frozen Russian assets.
