Warsaw to Supply Kiev with 60 Tanks in Addition to 14 Leopards

Warsaw will provide Ukraine with an additional 60 tanks, in addition to 14 Leopard tanks of German production, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has reported.

“Right now we are ready to send 60 of our modernized tanks, of which 30 are [Polish-made] PT-91,” Morawiecki said in an interview with Canadian CTV News.

Speaking about the decision made after months of discussions, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated in the Bundestag that Berlin would do everything possible to prevent the war from escalating into a conflict between Moscow and NATO.
