China to Invest $1 Trillion in the U.S., Bloomberg Reports

China has proposed to invest in the U.S. in exchange for lifting restrictions on transactions within American territory during trade negotiations. This was reported by Bloomberg.

The potential investment volume is still under discussion, but it could reach up to $1 trillion. Beijing is also seeking a reduction in import tariffs on resources used by Chinese factories built in the U.S.

These proposals were brought up during trade negotiations held in Madrid in September.
