Judicial Cases Involving Officials Stagnate

The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports: 'According to the information from 'Zhoghovurd,' judicial cases involving officials are stagnating. We have learned that many cases are already in court; however, hearings are not being held, which means that no verdicts are being rendered. This specifically refers to cases that have already entered the court system.

For example, one such case involves the criminal proceedings against the mayor of the village of Arshalouis, who is the brother of former MP Hrant Grigoryan, and this case is also in court but is stagnating. In any case, this is just one of the many cases.

Additionally, the case of Nver Muradyan, the son of former Republican Party faction MP Murad Muradyan, has been in court for a year now, but judicial processes are being unjustifiably postponed for various reasons. We have learned that this situation is also related to the snap parliamentary elections, and the authorities want to keep this issue as leverage for future use, especially if these officials from the opposition camp wish to play any role during the snap parliamentary elections.'
