There Will Be No Division of Syria, Erdogan

Ankara will not allow the destabilization of Syria, violations of its territorial integrity, and the emergence of terrorist formations within its borders. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“We are opposed to any statements regarding the division of Syria. Preserving its unity and preventing the formation of terrorist organizations outside our borders are our priorities. We have employed all diplomatic channels to achieve these goals. We are acting from a standpoint of patience, sincerity, and sound reasoning. But if diplomatic initiatives do not yield results, Turkey's stance and actions are well known to all. We will not allow a déjà vu scenario to repeat in Syria,” emphasized Erdogan.
