It is important for the party to be the most transparent operating system, says Prime Minister
In terms of the establishment of the political system, it is very important that the party operates as the most transparent system, and we must make that decision, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated from the podium of the National Assembly, responding to a question about whether it would not be correct for the composition of party administrations to be elected, as is the case in the Civil Contract party.
“In 90 percent of Armenian parties, the administration or management body is composed of 1-2 people who later inform the public through the media about what happened and who was elected. We are a democratic country; we must find mechanisms so that the parties operating in our country also comply with the principles of democracy and transparency,” Pashinyan emphasized.
He noted that this could even raise the issue of whether to allow participation in elections or not. “Why do conspiratorial organizations participate in elections? Let them go ahead and engage in conspiracy, and we will expose them,” he added.
