Archbishop Yeghiazar Does Not Consider It Necessary to Address His Inclusion in the 'Mirotvorets' Database

The leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan, Archbishop Yeghiazar, does not attach importance to the fact that he has been included in the Ukrainian 'Mirotvorets' database, reports RIA Novosti.

The diocese informed the agency that Archbishop Yeghiazar does not find it necessary to address this issue.

It was reported the day before that Archbishop Yeghiazar had been added to the Ukrainian 'Mirotvorets' database. The reason cited for this inclusion is reported support for Russia and an 'attack on Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.'

The 'Mirotvorets' website is known for its scandalous publications, which include the details of journalists, former members of the DPR and LPR militias, and other citizens, labeling them as 'traitors of the homeland.'

The actions of the owners of the 'Mirotvorets' website have also been criticized by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, describing the publications as a 'direct call for revenge against journalists.'
