Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump have achieved significant progress on various issues during their talks in Washington. This was announced by the head of the Turkish presidential communications directorate, Burhanettin Duran, commenting on the results of the US President's visit.

“The historic meeting with US President Trump at the White House took place in a very friendly atmosphere. A wide range of issues were discussed, from defense and trade to energy, as well as regional and global challenges. Significant progress has been recorded on several matters,” Duran wrote on X.
