Trump Forces EU to Change Its Methods

US President Donald Trump's decision to impose a 30 percent tariff on goods imported from the European Union is expected to compel the EU to change its methods. This was stated by France's Minister of Foreign Trade, Laurent Sen-Martin.

“Today, it is essential for the European Union to remain unified first and foremost; this is a priority. The current situation will force us to change our methods. We need to clarify what options the European Commission has to respond,” said the French Minister of Foreign Trade.
