We Will Not be Held Responsible: Former ANIIF Director to Pashinyan

Many are waiting for another failure from Nikol Pashinyan, who has abused our trust. This is stated by David Papazyan, former executive director of ANIIF.

“It will not succeed to hold us responsible for his and his government’s disgraceful mistakes and shortcomings that have disrupted several programs developed by the founding team of ANIIF,” he said.

The Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIIF) was established in 2019 with high expectations of attracting significant foreign investments into the country’s economy, promoting large projects, and developing infrastructure. However, five years later, those expectations have led to failed projects, bankrupt businesses, and lawsuits. According to Papazyan, 25 billion drams have been squandered through the ANIIF fund.
