Peskov on the Resolution of the Israel-Palestine Conflict
Russia advocates for a two-state solution to the conflict between Israel and Palestine. This was stated to reporters by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.
“We remain committed to the fundamental resolutions of the UN Security Council and the international stance regarding the possibility of resolving the Palestine-Israel issue based on a two-state approach. Therefore, our position remains unchanged,” said Peskov.
According to him, Moscow believes that this is the only possible path to resolve this complex and entrenched conflict.
“The Palestine-Israel conflict today is experiencing perhaps the most acute phase in its entire history. And the most tragic,” the spokesperson for the Russian leader remarked.
