Heavy Rainfall Across the Country Due to Active Cyclone

Due to the passage of an active cyclone, heavy rainfall has been observed across almost the entire territory of the Republic on September 19. The amount of rainfall has varied significantly compared to the monthly norm, according to the reports from the "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" State Non-Commercial Organization.

In Shirak, it reached up to 96% of the norm, in Lori-Tavush it was 43-50%, in Kotayk, Gegharkunik, and Aragatsotn it amounted to 55-75%, in Ararat and Armavir it was between 50-103%, in Vayots Dzor and Syunik it reached 30-50%, and in Yerevan, it was up to 68%.

From September 20 to 22, rainfall will continue in some regions of the Republic, while starting from the 23rd, dry weather will be established across the entire territory of the country.
